To manage production process to ensure that optimal efficiencies of materials, equipment and labor are achieved, and to implement and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize Production – Plan efficiently, use resources wisely, maximize yield, and reduce waste/downtime.
- Ensure Quality & Safety – Investigate deviations, prepare for audits, and follow industry standards.
- Drive Improvement – Enhance processes, analyze ROI, and promote efficiency.
- Manage Assets & Risks – Maintain equipment, assess risks, analyze trends, and support sustainability.
- Ensure Compliance – Conduct audits, follow regulations, and report incidents.
- Develop Staff – Manage, train, and motivate employees while handling HR tasks.
- Control Costs – Track budgets, monitor expenses, optimize resources, and plan cost-effective production.
- Support Sustainability – Implement eco-friendly initiatives and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure Reporting – Submit reports, prepare audits, and maintain compliance records.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- Essential: Advanced Diploma / Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of people management experience in a leadership role.
- FMCG middle management experience or technical experience in production machinery and processes.
- Strong background in project and process management.
- Knowledge and implementation of quality standards.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, including OSH Act, BCEA, EE, SD, and
- cGMP.
